Composer Matthew Ricketts originally wrote Melodia as a solo piano piece, which I premiered in 2017. The piece has gone through numerous versions, as a piano concerto and then a chamber version of the latter.
This is Melodia in its third version, performed with Wavefield Ensemble in 2019 at National Sawdust in Brooklyn.
